Little Holland

Sunday was supposed to be a dry & bright day… dah promise Haikal nak bawak dia naik ”Thomas” merah… so thought of going to Little Holland in Madurodam. Dekat aje ngan apt we all ni.. just a few stops on the tram (“Thomas” la ni). Suka lah Haikal sebab cita-cita dia tercapai…

This is the "Thomas merah" that Haikal is so excited about.. and inside the tram (tak berapa clear)

I bought Tini the “strippenkaart” (which is the tram ticket – for 15 stamps, it costs EUR6.80). Within a zone, we have to stamp at least 2 strips… and for each additional zone, add another. For myself, I already have the monthly pass… for both buses and trams (for EUR69.50)….

Ervan is joining us today so he waited at the main entrance of the apartment. We left about 11am… by this time, the weather is still a bit cloudy but at least no rain. We took the tram and stopped at Madurodam….

It cost about EUR9.95 per adults and children above 3 around EUR6+… tak pe lah.. bila lagi nak pergi tempat2 camni ek? And once we’re inside, that’s the whole of Holland in one place!!!

Dua jam jugak nak go around the place… dalam ni pun ada tram ride, which Haikal is sooooo excited about riding onto… and yang bestnya, a lot of the mini aeroplanes, and trains in this place are all not static… so you’ll see the almost-real trains (but mini) making it’s way around the area. Haikal tak habis2 dengan “Thomas” dia…


The moving train... and the Madurodam Express

Memula tu, ingat nak go to Central Den Haag after Madurodam but nampak Tini & the kids macam tak larat so we decided to go home first. Ervan continued to town….

Petang pulak, since it’s a very nice day, ingatkan nak pergi beach… tapi semua dah pengsan!! Tidur macam tidur malam… tapi bila dah under the comforter tu, memang pun rasa malas nak bangun!!! So Haikal only woke up around 7pm (which is close to waktu berbuka already)… so tak jadi lah tengok beach dia… maybe next time.

And that was the end of the first weekend kat sini….

Now Haikal sibuk nak naik “bas putih” pulak… aduhai!!!
